ALBION, Ind. — Outdoor supplier Three Birds Casual heading into September Casual Market Atlanta with Atelier, a modular outdoor dining table system designed to offer greater customization while limiting the number of components dealers must stock or display.

Rather than treating each table as a predetermined design, Atelier separates it into two elements: a ceramic surface and a compatible foundation. Users can combine the components to create tables suited to different spaces and design preferences.

The initial assortment includes round and square ceramic surfaces in two colors. Nero has a dark charcoal appearance, while Daino features a warmer cream palette. Each tabletop includes an umbrella hole and a plug for use when an umbrella is not installed.

An Atelier table pairs a ceramic surface with a compatible foundation for a customizable outdoor dining solution.

Foundation options include teak, aluminum, stainless steel and Vera, a sculptural teak design. According to Three Birds Casual, the variety of materials allows the tables to work in contemporary, transitional and natural outdoor settings. The modular format also gives dealers more customization options without requiring additional showroom floor space.

“We see Atelier as the starting point for a line that will effortlessly complement everything in our catalog,” said Telly Varga, director of marketing at Three Birds Casual. “The nature of Atelier begs for creativity and for the user to push the boundaries of how to make their living space unique to them.”

Varga said the company eventually plans to extend the modular design concept to larger dining tables and occasional tables.

Atelier will make its public debut during the fall Casual Market Atlanta, scheduled for Sept. 15-18. Three Birds Casual will exhibit in AmericasMart Atlanta’s Building 1, showroom 3-C6A. The collection will also be shown at Boutique Design New York, Nov. 8-9.
